From Local Beef to Your Skin
At Pennington Tallow Co., we don't simply purchase pre-rendered tallow and put our name on a jar. We complete the entire rendering process ourselves. Our grass-fed beef fat is locally sourced and carefully rendered in-house, allowing us to personally oversee the process from beginning to end.
Rendering tallow properly takes patience. Our process typically takes 5–7 days, because we believe quality shouldn't be rushed. Throughout the process, the fat is carefully rendered, strained, cleaned, and purified until we are left with the smooth, clean tallow that becomes the foundation of our products. It's a slower process, but it's one we're proud to take the time to do ourselves.
